The men and women you recruit seek more than a job; they seek a home. I grew up in south Alabama and spent about 30 years in New York before moving to Birmingham. I love living here but understand that it’s complicated getting to know a new city on a “first date,” much less envisioning it as home. The concept for Chalker Group grew from that understanding. We show recruits how the city is relevant to their lives, and, in doing so, help employers bring the best and brightest to our community.

The Chalker Group is led by co-presidents and co-owners Jen Dent and Walton Foster who purchased the company in 2023. Chalker has served Birmingham since 2013 and expanded into Huntsville in 2024. As the company continues to grow, we remain committed to our core mission to create meaningful connections for candidates.
